DESCRIPTION:When: September 23\nWhere: Begins at Ottawa City Hall\nWhat: The Canada Army Run consists of a\nhalf-marathon\, 10K and 5K run which attracts\nmilitary and civilian runners\, walkers and\nspectators from around the world. From the\ncannon used as a starter’s pistol to the dog-tag\nmedals soldiers place around all participants’\nnecks at the finish line\, this unique event\nis military from start to finish. More than\nanything\, though\, Canada Army Run is about\nCanadian Air Force\, Army\, and Navy – joining together in\nthe spirit of camaraderie and community. It’s\na chance for the troops to extend the military\nesprit de corps to Canadians and to thank\nthem for their support.
