The symposium includes a special keynote talk about “nature deficit disorder” on Tues.\, Nov. 8 at 7 pm by Richard Louv\, author of several books\, including Last Child in the Woods and Vitamin N. On Wed.\, Nov. 9\, participate in a full day that includes panel discussions on urban life and on the health impacts of nature\, hands-on educational and art activities\, a makerspace\, group discussions and the chance to engage with community leaders. Lunch is included. Register for both Nov. 8 and 9 events and enjoy a combo price.
