DESCRIPTION:Where: Almonte Fairgrounds\,\nAlmonte\, Ont. \nWhen: August 11\, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.\nWhat: Plan to spend the entire day at the\nAlmonte Fairgrounds and beach from 9 a.m.\nto 5 p.m. This year’s event will include a 5\nkm community paddle up the Mississippi\nRiver towards Appleton\, and feature teams\nbuilding\, decorating and racing their own\nrafts across the river. New this year is the\naddition of three different puppet shows for\nkids and their families.
