DESCRIPTION:When: Sundays\, from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m.\n(times dependent on location) until\nSeptember 2\nWhere: Various locations across Ottawa and\nGatineau\nWhat: Enjoy summer Sundays cycling along\ncar-free roads and experience the beauty\nof Canada’s Capital Region in a fun and\nenvironmentally friendly way. Since 1970\,\nthe National Capital Commission has opened\nscenic parkways to cyclists in Ottawa and\nGatineau Park. On Sundays\, cycle\, skate and\nrun along(9 km)\, Colonel By Drive (8 km) and Sir George Étienne\nCartier Parkway (8 km) in Ottawa from\n9 a.m. to 1 p.m. In Gatineau from 6 a.m. to\n11 a.m.\, cyclists who enjoy steep hills can enjoy\na total of 27 kilometres along the Gatineau\nParkway\, Champlain Parkway and Fortune Lake\nParkway; and from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m.\, a total of\n3.5 kilometres north of Chemin du Lac-Meech\n(parking lot P8).
