DESCRIPTION:Join us on November 23 at 2:00 P.M. for a delightful stage adaptation by Mike Kenny of E. Nesbit’s beloved family classic\, The Railway Children. The play follows the adventures of three children forced by circumstance to move from their charmed life in London to the English countryside\, close to the railway. Directed by Jim McNabb\, the production will run from November 25 to December 13 at the Ottawa Little Theatre; thanks to the OLT\, which made a similar gesture last February\, the November 23 matinée is a fundraiser for PAL Ottawa. \nThe Railway Children is perfect holiday fare for the whole family – don’t miss this wonderful evocation of Edwardian England! \nFounded in 2012\, PAL Ottawa is a not-for-profit charitable organization designed to respond to a community need. The mission of PAL Ottawa is to provide or help connect members of the professional arts community\, mainly senior and disabled artists\, with essentials such as affordable housing\, personal care services\, and links to the local arts community\, so they can live\, not in fear and isolation\, but in dignity within a caring community.
