This session provides easy-to-follow steps for discipline (children ages 2-12). How to get your kids to stop doing what’s wrong (arguing, whining, tantrums, sibling rivalry), how to encourage your kids to start doing what is right (tidying up, going to bed), how to avoid the talk-persuade-argue-yell syndrome, and 10 steps for building self-esteem.

Parent/Caregiver training

Making Parenting Connections
A mandated parenting course for parents with children from birth to age 6 who are
involved with the Children’s Aid Society of Ottawa. This 10-week parenting course allows participants to discuss and learn hands-on techniques on topics that are most important to families with young children. Each session involves sharing information and active group work to practice what is discussed. Participants must complete intake and pre-register before the first class.
