With 20 000 students in 39 elementary and 10 secondary schools, as well as its school for adults, the Conseil des écoles catholiques du Centre-Est (CECCE) is the largest Canadian network of French-language schools outside Quebec.
The CECCE is Ontario’s largest French language school system, with 38 elementary schools, 10 high schools, 20 000 pupils from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 12 and some 2,000 teachers and professionals tending the school community’s needs. It covers an area of 35,615 sq. km., including the City of Ottawa.
The CECCE has 50 schools, including 39 elementary schools, 10 secondary schools and a school for adults.
The students of the CECCE’s schools rank among the best in Ontario on provincial tests.
Many specialized programs are offered across all our secondary schools.
The vast majority of graduates are bilingual.
Full-time school is offered from age 4 on.
A variety of support programs are available to parents.
Nine out of ten classes between junior kindergarten and Grade 3 have 20 students or fewer.
