Real Programming for Kids

Real Programming 4 Kids provides a rich and challenging learning environment for all skill levels, with all the fun of video games. We have taught computer programming to thousands of Ontario kids and teens since 2000.

Creating and programming a video game offers the most complete application of math, physics, creativity, problem solving, and communication skills. Without math, video games wouldn't exist. All of our courses apply math from 2D coordinate grids and negative numbers right up to 3D vectors, and trigonometry.

Imagine your child learning University level Computer Programming while still a kid! RP4K has a long track record of helping kids prepare for and achieve amazing results in their Post-Secondary computer science programs. This creates the possibility for an exciting career in the fast growing video game design industry.

Real Programming 4 Kids teaches kids and teens how to use real game industry-standard computer programming software just like the pros. Your child can learn real programming languages like Visual Basic, Java, C# and C++.

Kids learn best in our focused classes with a maximum of just 4 students per instructor!

Read our testimonials, we guarantee your satisfaction. If you aren’t satisfied after your child attends the first two classes of an RP4K course, you can withdraw them from our program before the third class and receive a 100% refund for the course!

Your 7 to 17 year-old kids can start learning the fundamentals of computer science, and reveal the secrets of video game design today. No prior programming experience needed to begin.

It all starts when you call to schedule a free, no obligation assessment class in Toronto, Ottawa, Oshawa, London, Waterloo, Etobicoke, Richmond Hill or Oakville.

Rideau Hill Camp

Since 1948 Rideau Hill Camp has offered a fun-filled camping experience in a Christian-based environment.
A volunteer Camp Council administers Rideau Hill Camp. The property is in trust to the Seaway Valley Presbytery of the United Church of Canada. Campers from all denominations are welcome to attend. Although there is a Chaplain on the premises, there are no church services held during camp. Vespers and Discovery Time, are the standard.
Our camp is located at 3560 Rideau River Rd. RR 5, Kemptville, Ontario. The 18-acre site includes wooded areas with trails, grassy fields and river frontage.
The purpose of Rideau Hill Camp is character enrichment through living, sharing, and developing within a Christian based environment. Our carefully chosen staff includes registered nurses, chaplains, a canoe instructor, qualified lifeguards, and a cook. Nutritious meals and snacks are served in the dining hall with provisions for our vegetarian campers.
Five to ten campers age 6 - 16 stay in spacious cabins with an activity leader and one other staff. Parent & Tots/Family Campers share cabins with their family or their friends.  Our daily staff to camper ratio while not in cabins is between 1:2 and 1:5 depending on age. Some of our facilities include a recreation hall, dining hall, swimming pool, beach volleyball court, and trails throughout our managed forest to name just a few. Campers enjoy activities such as arts & crafts, track & trail, discovery time, vespers, canoeing on the Rideau River and swimming in the pool as well as archery and other organized games that keep bringing our campers and a good number of staff members back year after year.
